Refacing
Okay, after may years in the kitchen industry the one procedure I dislike the most is refacing. Here's how it works and why I don't like it...well, half of it. The doors are replaced (which is excellent) because you get to choose a new door of whatever style or species you want, or even change the size of the door for a fuller over-lay! Here's the ugly side that doesn't last- If you choose do go with a new species of wood the only way to match your cabinets to your doors is to glue a thin layer of wood to your existing wood frames and end panels...which inevitably peels loose, every time.
So, if you decide that you DO want to replace be the doors then maybe we go with our suggestions which is to not change the species but only the style and possibly the size. Its a pretty simple too. We measure for all new doors and have the made here in West Virginia then apply a new finish to your existing cabinets to match the new doors we ordered. We can also update with hidden hinges, crown, tile, new hardware while we're at it.
If you don't like your cabinets and their species or the layout, then lets rip them out and start new to the studs because we do drywall too!
